Project Humanity

Do you ever want to "do something" to help a cause, but aren't sure what?  Below is a list of links to various organizations to help you get started with your humanity projects!

Administration for Children and Families - (ACF)  This website will give you information and resources  to get involved in programs that help the welfare of children and families dealing with everything from human trafficking to foster care or adoption.  In my opinion, there really aren't enough good families out there and if you've got the fortitude to make it happen, here's a little start.  Then look locally at what your state has to offer.

American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals -(ASPCA) This is an organization that stands up for animal rights, from domestic abuse to toxins in your home that harm your pet.  Learn more about what you can do to help, even in your own neighborhood.

American Cancer Society - This organization speaks for it's self.  Teach your children about the dangers of smoking, become involved on behalf of a loved one who's has suffered through cancer or just be a voice for those who do not have the strength.

American Heart Association - Educate. Make Informed Decisions.  Prevention.  Ask yourself, "What can I do to live the healthiest life for me and my family?"  We know what's going on with the outside of our bodies, it's the inside we need to nuture.  Get Involved for yourself, for a loved one, for your children. Heart disease cannot always be prevented, but you can do your best to be the healthies YOU!

Amnesty International -  Amnesty International is forever fighting for human rights around the world.

Juvenile Diabete Foundation and Research International - Anyone who has seen a child who needs Insulin and Diabetic Care knows how hard it can be to keep balance in this childs life.  This is a cause that is near and dear to my heart and I am in awe of the strength of the children who persevere and continue to handle the flucuation in their bodies and lives.

Shelters for Homeless, Women, Men and Children -  The number of people who are homeless is astounding and growing.  Some of these people are actual families, mothers, fathers, children, aunt's, uncles, sisters, brothers, nephews, neicees, grandparents... everyone is someone to somebody.  This website lists different programs per state.  There are alot of programs in your state, not just from this site, but many others. Doesn't matter which one you choose, just choose.  This is just one step, one avenue to reaching out to someone else.

National Coalition Against Domestic Violence - There clearly is no excuse  for Domestic Violence - ever!  Get Involved, pay attention to those around you and protect by contacting authorities, providing shelter information, donate.  Just Do!

Natural Resources Defense Council - If Global Warming, Human Destruction and Environmental issues is what is bothering you, check this website out.  You will become more informed, more aware and more capable of deciding how you will make an impact on the earth for the better.
